At the helm of Montreal-based TANK's remarkable growth trajectory for the past decade, Marc is now poised to lead further growth of our newly merged National agency team. He has gained a reputation as a trailblazer in the industry, building a strong track record in both consumer and healthcare communications. His philosophy has always been to surround himself with the crème de la crème of like-minded creative minds and strategic brains; challenging them to solve business problems with expertise and system-based thinking.
Clients have formed long-term trusting relationships with Marc thanks to his pioneering spirit and enthusiasm for their business realities. He sits on the board of A2C : The Association of Creative Communications Agencies, where he pursues his goal of establishing Montréal as a creative hotspot and increasing the city’s global visibility. A father of two and avid outdoorsman, he is always on the lookout for a new challenge including hiking up the mountain to make the downhill ski more interesting.
Patrice is responsible for the financial health and management of all of GREY’s Canadian offices. He brings over 20 years of experience within the communications industry with specific focus on highly competitive, creative, and ever-changing business environments.
Most recently, he was Director of Finance and Administration at Martel et compagnie, a Quebec-based division of Leo Burnett, where he oversaw the implementation and upgrades of all accounting procedures across North America. Previously, while with BCP, he contributed to the acquisition and integration of two companies in order to diversify the agency's overall offering in promotions and events.
Patrice graduated from UQAM's École des sciences de la gestion with a Bachelor's Degree in management accounting. His entrepreneurial spirit and his desire for meaningful relationships internally and externally create a positive and dynamic leadership style that fosters a great work culture.
Nicole started her career in the world of advertising nearly 20 years ago. She gained a running start in the business kicking off her portfolio at BBDO working on Pizza Hut and Pepsi Cola, where she eventually lead and executed the largest packaged goods promotion in Pepsi Cola Canada's history.
She then moved on to Grip Limited working on the Bell Sympatico relationship and later transitioning to DDB to manage the Johnson & Johnson Beauty and Cialis businesses (which resulted in 2 Cannes Lions for her team’s work).
Nicole initially joined Grey as VP, Director of Client Services where she will oversaw all client relations and internal training and staffing needs. Now with her partner James Ansley, the pair oversee the agency from all angles.
Nicole is an avid sports fan and traveler who is often found following her favourite soccer team around the world with her husband and two little boys.
James was born in Barrie, Ontario. After earning his degree in agriculture from the University of Guelph he made the natural leap to the world of advertising. Since then he’s worked on such brands as Jeep, Pepsi, RBC, Infiniti, Visa, Wrigley, Whiskas, and FirstOntario Credit Union. His work has been featured in D&AD, The One Show, Marketing Magazine, Luerzer’s Archive, The CASSIES and The ADCCs.
James launched his career at BBDO Toronto where he spent the next eight years honing his craft. Looking for a change, he moved to TBWA/Toronto in 2004 where he stepped into a Creative Directorship role. But when GREY Canada came calling in the fall of 2011 he jumped at the opportunity to move 115 meters north on Spadina Avenue to join the team.
When not building brands James can be found walking his prize- winning Cockapoo or climbing remote mountains across the globe.
Ian has joined GREY Canada leading strategic planning across all of our agency’s clients, its research practice, data team and core planning group. Over the course of his 18-year career, Westworth has honed his craft working at world-class advertising agencies that include Leo Burnett, BBH New York and JWT, bringing his expertise to many leading global brands, including Coca-Cola, Kellogg’s, Honda, Nintendo, Diageo, Labatt’s, Walmart, Johnson & Johnson and Nestlé. In addition to his time in advertising, Westworth spent three years in the research industry as a strategist, moderator and workshop facilitator.
Karen has over 19 years of experience in developing engagement and loyalty programs within the direct and content focus of our business. She leads our direct marketing and CRM practice for many of our clients businesses including customer-marketing efforts for Volvo, Brown Forman, HSBC, and Ovarian Cancer Canada.
Prior to GREY, Karen served 8 years at Javelin/Totem, where she used her expertise in CRM to lead the launch (and ongoing optimization) of a number of North American programs. Most recently, she was responsible for the leadership of the Totem Client Service team providing strategic oversight and management of the client portfolio including P&G, CAA, Canadian Tire accounts.
Steve began his advertising career almost 20 years ago, working on the General Motors retail account at MacLaren McCann in Toronto and subsequently working at several top-notch agencies like JWT, BBDO and TAXI.
Over the years Steve has gained broad global and national experience in a wide variety of categories such as QSR, leading numerous CARA foods brands; Financial Services with Scotiabank; and automotive on Mercedes-Benz. A highlight of Steve’s advertising career was being the account lead during the initial strategic and creative development of the Sick Kids ‘Vs’ campaign.
Steve most recently joined the GREY team as VP, Business Lead and Growth, which includes leading the Volvo Canada account among others.
When not working, Steve loves to spend time with his family. These days that mostly involves coaching a seemingly endless number of soccer and basketball teams.
